The New Trend In Safe Wickless Candles
Wickless candles heated by candle warmers are increasing in popularity and I've recently found one that I can recommend.

Wickless candles and candle warmers have been around for a little while and they are getting more and more popular. I have used the standard candle warmers that heat your normal candle but I've recently come across a new product in that market that caught my eye. It is a warmer that is safe and does not heat your typical candle. Instead of being a hot pad looking warmer this one has a decorative base that conceals the heat source with a small bowl type container on top that holds the candle wax. Look at the picture and you will see what I mean. The one in the picture is also the one I bought. The candle wax that you heat in the warmer comes in small cubes, or “bars” as they are called, that are placed in the bowl on top of the warmer. These wax bars are also made by the same company that makes the warmer.
The warmer and scented wax bars are made by a company called Scentsy. Their products can only be purchased online or through one of their Scentsy “consultants”. The Scentsy warmer I purchased online was through one of their "consultant websites". The heat source for the warmer is a simple 25 watt light bulb so you lower any risk of fire to same level as turning on a light in your home. Since they sell their own scented candle wax bars I wasn’t sure if they would have much of a selection of scents. On the contrary I counted ninety or so different scents to choose from. Also I found it really easy to switch from one scent to another in the warmer. While the wax is still hot you simply pour it back into its original container, wipe out the warmer bowl with a paper towel, and then put in the new scented bar. You can also clean the bowl with soap and water. So far I have been really impressed with this product and have not had any problems with the warmer or candle scents that I purchased. Scentsy, the company that makes this product is based out of Meridian, Idaho and was founded in 2004.
